A limited edition postcard set marking 10 years of Liza Langen Studio. Eight film portraits of favourite flowers from our book [T.P.O.A.F], and two cyanotype prints made from original artworks created by hand in our studio. The envelope design is inspired by the shadows of real flowers.
Cyanotype prints
The originals were made by hand: real flowers, dried and pressed, laid on light-sensitive paper and exposed in the sun outside our studio in Stockholm. Once rinsed in water, the paper keeps only their silhouette in deep blue.
Film photographs
Eight portraits from our book The Practice of Arranging Flowers, photographed over the course of a year in natural light, following the seasons. Each flower is captured as it was.
