What to expect at the workshop
- An introduction to kokebana: its origins, philosophy, and how it differs from more structured arranging traditions
- Hands-on guidance from Liza through the entire process: from selecting your seasonal materials to building and shaping your own composition
- You will work with moss and plants
- An exploration of vessel and material: how unexpected objects become part of the arrangement
- A meditative pace — this is a workshop for slowing down and being present
- The workshop is taught in English
- Coffee and fika
- Your finished piece to bring home (that you can replant!)
- Final design will be revealed during the workshop
All materials are seasonal and sourced with care. No prior experience is needed — only curiosity.
