ABOUT US

LIZA LANGEN FLOWERS is a floral design studio rooted in Stockholm, founded by Elizaveta and Niklas Langen and later joined by Nova and Louis - the business is a family affair. Inspired by creativity, consciousness, personal touch, and the abundance and beauty of seasonal metamorphosis, Liza Langen studio's contemporary arrangements enhance life's special moments and honor the practice of being present. With studio, a new sun-filled storefront in the south of Stockholm, and a growing local community with a heart full of flowers, Liza Langen Studio is devoted to using nature's magic to brighten each day a little bit more.
FOUNDER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Elizaveta Langen, the studio's founder and creative director, has began her journey in floristry through creating simple seasonal arrangements for her home as a way to connect to her family living abroad and the garden she grew up surrounded with. She founded the studio in 2016 working exclusively with seasonal flowers and sustainable design technique.

"My practice of arranging flowers started with a ritual of selecting flowers for my home. In the early stages, I found inspiration for an arrangement by thinking back to the flowers I was familiar with from my grandparents' garden. I would look closely, pinpoint one unique detail in each flower, and then try to showcase that in the arrangement. Whether it was a curvy stem or a singular petal of a different color, interesting textures,or the size of a flower, minor details became my starting point for the whole composition. Taking a moment to remember how flowers grew in our garden guided me in choosing how and where to place them in the arrangement. Even today, observing nature and its ways is a tool I often use to guide my creativity."
